Edinburgh wants to recycle carpets and furniture

To reduce the amount of waste being sent to landfills, carpets and furniture may become recyclable. There is a move to reuse or recycle old carpets left by tenants in council houses, says the Edinburgh city council.

Residents of Edinburgh will live through a new test program where they will be asked to set out their leftovers that were destined for the trash, but to put them beside the recyclables.

Edinburgh to recycle more food
